Understanding Credits
Solidarity Social uses a credit-based system. The number of credits you need each month depends on your repository size (all your posts, media, and data):

Good news: Almost all Bluesky users today have repository sizes less than 1 GB.
We're currently in a promotion with bonus credits for successful invites.
Here's how pricing will work when our credit purchase system launches in the coming months.
Promotion Period
This invite-only promotion runs until we reach 10,000 users or July 31, 2026, whichever comes first.
After the promotion ends: Your accumulated invites remain valuable! Migration rewards will continue with default rates described below. If you have unlimited invites at the end of the promotion period, it converts to 100 invites.

Share your invite codes with Bluesky users who might like to migrate to Solidarity Social. The more influential they are, the bigger your rewards!

When an invited user migrates during the promotion, earn bonus credits and additional invite codes.

How do I get an invite code?
You can receive an invite code from an existing user or request one below. Each new user starts with the ability to share up to 5 invite codes.
What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are used to pay for Solidarity Social service. For most users 1 credit = 1 month of service. When you create an account, you receive 2 free credits (2 months of service). You can earn more credits when users you invite, migrate their account to join Solidarity Social.
How do I earn more credits and invites?
When someone uses your invite to migrate a Bluesky account created before March 1, 2026 with 50+ followers, you earn credits and invites based on their follower count. See the promotional and default rewards table above for details.
When will I be able to purchase credits?
We plan to implement a credit purchase system before the promotion ends. When available, credits will cost $1 USD each, or $8 USD for a bundle of 12 credits (33% savings).
How long will this promotion last?
The invite-only promotion will run until we reach 10,000 users or until June 30, 2026, whichever comes first. Make sure to join early to maximize rewards you can earn!
What happens when my credits run out?
When the credit purchase system launches, you'll be able to buy more credits. Until then, focus on earning credits by inviting influential users to join Solidarity Social.
